About this red cup...
Some are upset that the "Christmas" theme was taken away.
Some are upset that those are upset. (in my mind I’m thinking get a grip! There are more important things in the world needing our attention!)
Starbucks has never claimed Christian values. They just circulate a red cup (previously embellished with a Christmas theme) every holiday season.
This red cup.

This peppermint mocha was a blessing to a tired mama this morning. You see, the person in line ahead of me, paid it forward and bought my red cup of mocha. He or she drove away and didn't get to see the Joy on my face. I in turn, paid the bill of the person behind me and it felt SO GOOD. I hope they kept it going.
This season, Christian or not, why not start a red cup revolution!
Pay it forward. That's what Jesus would do.  So, if you're bent and torqued about the lack of "Christmas" on your cup, use that fuel that's making you angry and turn it around. Be a blessing.
Share a red cup. A meal. A warm coat and hat. Make it your mission.
If you really want a Christmas message on your cup....

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:16 NIV
